As a veteran Screen
Actors Guild Actress and Model, you’ve seen Eleni in campaigns for
Apple, Garnier, Google, L’Oreal, Tresemme, IT cosmetics, IKEA,
Electrolux, Carnival, Cover Girl, Kraft, and Johnson & Johnson just
to name a few! You’ve also seen her in the pages of publications
like Good Housekeeping and Dr. Oz Magazine and on the screen as
Debbie (Steve’s girlfriend) in Sex and the City.
During the height of
COVID-19, she saw an opportunity to give back to her community and
became a certified elementary school teacher. Working at a variety
of elementary schools in New York City, Eleni saw how storytelling
can provide a playful platform for students to learn about
important topics and share their experiences in a safe space. This
encouraged Eleni to fulfill a lifelong dream of writing a
children’s book. This children’s book adventure started for Eleni
over eight years ago, when her two enthusiastic boys, Zen and Billy
(ages nine and seven at the time), inspired her to write her
stories down and share them with the world—even if it meant
printing them out on a copy machine and passing them out at a
lemonade stand in front of their house in Astoria,
Queens.
Eight years later
Eleni is the proud author of The Kids We Love Collection. Through
each book, children learn lessons about gratitude, self-reflection,
problem-solving, empathy, kindness, and inclusivity. The series
gives parents and fellow teachers tools and resources to actively
and organically engage with their kids. Eleni has traveled the
country to share her story with elementary school children from the
East Coast of New York to the West Coast of Montana.
